TO GOD BE THE GLORY SPORTS
2011 Year in Review

TO GOD BE THE GLORY SPORTS continues to provide life changing international exposure & career opportunities for young athletes.

2011 was a transitional year for To God be the Glory Sports. With the Chinese Basketball market growing to a reported 300 million basketball fans and enthusiasts, TGBTG Sports has positioned the organization to be a main resource for American athletes interested in playing in China by partnering with several influential groups in China to facilitate activities and job placement.

The NBA Lockout in 2011 had a great effect on the global sports market, and some of the planned TGBTG events in 2011 were cancelled or postponed due to the CBA’s focus on signing NBA players looking to go overseas during the lockout.  With the NBA back in business, TGBTG Sports expects 2012 to be an exciting year packed with new opportunities for all of our young aspiring professionals.

In 2012, To God be the Glory Sports will organize and co-sponsor the following events for basketball players seeking career opportunities:

February 15 - 28: Professional Women’s Basketball Tour in China.  A 6 City Tour in China with 12 select  American women free agent players competing against team in the WCBA league.  In addition to the games, the American players will participate in youth camps and other outreach activities with the youth in China during the tour.
